Great replacement. Double clamps are changing the world. The handle is textured and soft, making it easy to grab and hold when needed.

They walk normally, they hold securely. With two clamps, getting off the handlebars is a little more difficult than with individual clamps. They look and feel good, but the rubber compound gets slippery when wet.

Great comfort and durability. The end of each handle has already snapped off and I've only had them a month. The screw at the ends is not very reliable, they are lost with very light pressure.

I expected the red to be like the standard photo. Came a pale color, almost pink. I didn't tell my wife what color they should be, the answer wasn't red. Otherwise they feel sticky. I'm riding them now as I'm not sure if I'll be returning them or not yet.

Comfortable, very grippy grips. They are soft but not too soft so they don't try to curl up in the middle and cut your hands. They're very comfortable for rough or technical riding, but may not have enough cushioning to be comfortable on rides longer than a couple of hours.

The fasteners work great, don't slip at all and you don't have to over tighten or damage the carbon shaft. It's a hard rubber, not a soft one, which is fine if you like it, but be aware that it doesn't do much to dampen vibrations. Just as good as some of the $30 pens, so a great deal at only $10. Put them on a Specialized Cyclocross bike that I converted to flat bars. They are a good compromise between traditional steering tape and mountain grips.
