Dubious Design Choices

In general, the case meets my needs, which is great. However, while putting together my new build, I encountered two things that just confuse me. First of all, the coating on the inside of the case, where the components are screwed together, seems to be peeling off. It doesn't matter since I essentially collect it. and forget it Secondly. Another issue which is quite disappointing is the hard drive bays, they take 3 screws which should be finger tight but require a screwdriver, again not a big…

Good hard drive case and for those who don't want a full size tower

Pros: Supports e-ATX boards despite being an ATX case Can hold up to 8 3.5 hard drives (Corsair only includes 6 hard drives Drive trays) Drives) 3 x 2.5 HDD trays on the back and a DVD drive bay on the top Plenty of space for cable management High quality panels and good color on the white case Fan controller that can drive 6 fans connected via a SATA cable Disadvantages : Vertical graphics card CPU can be difficult in this case if you have a 3 slot card like ftw3 since it only supports 2 slots

Great case - definitely recommend

This is a great case. Even more amazing when you consider how cheap the price is. This is a purely conservative case. It has a glass side panel/door so you can display the illuminated innards if you wish. All air intake points have a filter. All panels are covered with soundproofing material (except glass). Even with fans -9- inside, the system is quiet when I'm not heavily loading the system (i.e. rendering 4K+ video). If I only use it for office work (Word, Excel, Outlook...), the fans never…

Disappointing and overpriced.

As someone who keeps their old hard drives, I was looking for an enclosure on the market that offered a lot of storage space and looked good too. This case, despite its high price, seemed to fit the bill. I'm really sorry I didn't look at some of the reviews before making this decision. While well built, mostly metal and definitely solid, there were a few glaring issues. First, the powder coating near the screws had a tendency to flake off revealing the bare metal underneath. While not the…

Good case, but I have a problem with it.

The side panel on the motherboard side has been annoying me and looks like it's going to be a problem. So it stinks, but the case overall is beautiful and I was paranoid that it wouldn't cool well due to negative reviews saying this case had cooling issues. I don't notice any cooling issues and have great idle temperatures under 30s when using the ghost cooler on a Ryzen 7 3700x with an MSI B450 motherboard. The case itself isn't super quiet with a mesh upper, but it's not loud either. The temp

If you like quiet, this is your next housing.

Considering my previous case, it was a Corsair 600T (white) with an LGA1155/i7-2600K case; truly blown away by all the 'quality of life' improvements that the Corsair 678C offers. But the most important thing for me was the sound. Even with a bunch of quiet cougar fans; The Corsair 600T started to get annoying as I added more fans to the airflow mesh. The Corsair 678C now keeps my LGA1200 build in serene silence. Given the sound absorbing properties and the glass side door, I chose the H100i to
