Corvette Rear Cargo Shade Z06 Review

Nothing fancy, it has a stretchy rope that attaches to the factory hooks, fits well, the emblem looks good through the window. It covers the entire area of the hatch window. It rises with the hatch so access is easy.

This shade was intended to replace a 3 year old faded one. It looks really fantastic and serves several very useful purposes, hiding and protecting items left behind and preventing the carpet underneath from fading. Thanks.

Why buy a much more expensive version from GM? This article is great and I get compliments on it. When stowed it fits over the roof panel and hides my stuff. I wish it had a way to secure the leading edge of the flap hanging down, but I'll do something about that myself.

Security through concealment. Your car is less likely to be broken into if people cannot easily see that you have things in your car. I don't keep valuables in my car, but sometimes I like to buy something that isn't on Amazon (rare!) and when I do, I don't want that box showing up in my Vette's trunk.
