This is a good quality robe that fit me just fine, as expected, but is just a bit on the larger size. The cross that comes with it was cheap plastic, so I replaced it with a better one. With the hood up, the hood is large and gives you that "grim reaper" look. Just be aware that if you wear this robe to a festival, you might just encounter actual spiritual warfare, since those who follow Jesus these days are not appreciated! Anyway, this is an authentic looking robe of good quality.

The robe is pretty decently made. The fabric and everything is decent quality. The hood is a separate piece from the robe, so the hood tends to ride around a little bit. I purchased a large which should fit based upon the size chart, but it was tighter than expected in the shoulders and arms. I would suggest erring on the larger side to be safe. The sleeves are a little narrow compared to what I was expecting. I had a little trouble tucking my hands in the sleeves, but overall a good purchase.

I ordered a XXL costume.It's big alright. I'm 6'1" and 265lbsIt is really big ezmxactly what I wanted but, the armpit area is very snug.Other than that is awesome.I have very Broad shoulders and a big chest so that makes it a little snug.Thank you so much for this costume.

Well-made, good look. The rope belt was too small to look right on a bigger (rounder) guy, but the costume itself could cover a very, very large man. I mean like 6'8" and 350lbs. For a 5'11" 250 lb person it needed 8" hemmed to not drag.

It fit as most said it would. I think the snugness of the sleeves surprised me a bit. It was quite voluminous everywhere else - I think the ideal person for it would be a chubby person with skinny arms. Otherwise the quality of the costume is much better than I expected for the price, and it's super simple.just put it on and done.

The robe runs small. We’ll made. Made a great Martin Luther costume for Reformation Sunday. Note that it ties at neck only; robe does not close or zip closed. Still perfect touch to costume.

This was a gift for my grandson who was attending an event and needed a costume. Good costume but the top shoulders & sleeves are smaller than expected.

I got a 2X and its a little small in the shoulders. Im 6'3 250lbs, it drags the floor just a little bit and I can feel the tightness in the shoulders and back but all in all it looks good and the material is good and not too cheap feeling.

The robe is made well enough but it seems to be the same width throughout. Lengthwise, it was perfect but I had problems getting it over my shoulders and chest. I am 6'2" and 250 pounds. Once on, it was uncomfortable and movement was restricted. If your chest is bigger than your belly, or vice versa, you might find this is not a good fit. I'm about 6ft, 230 pounds. I am basically built like a linebacker, broad shoulders, and decent size chest. I went with the Large.I was very worried that I would need an XL, but the large fit just right. The fabric isn't that thick and breathes well. Good quality rope for the belt.Also, I didn't try to iron the robe. I just threw it in my dryer for 15min.

I don't typically leave reviews, but this is honestly one of my better buys (especially for the price). I got the XL and it fit perfectly (I am about 6-2, 200 lbs). It also is made out of quite good material. I only paid $30 for it and I expect to wear it again to many more Renaissance Festivals in the future.

The robe (size: L) fits very nicely. Loose throughout for freedom of movement and excellent length (I'm 6 ft). Good fabric quality and thickness. However, the rope belt is a bit shorter than I'd like (my waist: 36). Also, I did not receive the cross necklace, but whatever, good thing I have a rosary.

Got this for my son' costume. He is about 5'5-1/2" and he wears men's small, and it fit him perfectly (we got a size small). He used it for his wizard costume, without the cross. It looks great, and is sturdy, which is great as often costumes can be really flimsy/poorly made. My only complaint is that the fabric doesn't breathe at all - it's a thick polyester - so it's a bit uncomfortable if you're wearing it for any length of time in warmer climates. .

6ft 220lb purchased Comes down to about mid shin definitely tight in the bicep/shoulder area prob should of got an XXL but it will serve till I feel like purchasing another one. Feels pretty sturdy

Fitting: I was first skeptical on which size to choose from, and how it would fit, but I bought a size up, and it fit perfect. Product fits well. Cloth isn't the heaviest, but isn't completely see-through as well. Fits as expected. I am 6' 5"", 195 lbs, and I bought a large. The sleeves come to my wrists and the cloak comes just above my ankles. Material would be easy to hem, if it were necessary. Very pleased with this purchase. Would buy again.
