Bags tear very easily now - either a different material is used or a manufacturing defect. I have been ordering this product for many years with no problems. But in the last box I received; All bags were broken. Previously ordered packages you could not break even if you tried. Maybe it's a different material or a different production.

These are GREAT value, very durable bags. They cost about 30 cents each. I have been using this particular brand and have been for several years and have never had a problem. I use these for my 45 gallon trash can and sometimes I pack garbage for days and it's very heavy so these bags can hold a lot. I would recommend them to everyone else.

I've seen tougher conditions than this, but still pretty tough. Maybe not strong enough to load a lot of heavy and sharp content, but definitely heavy enough for average trash content. I give them 5 stars because that's all I need from them. If I were a carpenter or using them on construction sites they might not be as reliable.

The first thing I noticed when I first opened the box and one of the bags was a fairly strong smell of smoke. Like the aftertaste of a person smoking a whole pack of cigarettes. To put it mildly, it's bloody disgusting. The bag's material flexes a little, which gives it some strength. Can hold a decent weight. Has a good size jumpsuit. The smell is so bad that I will consider buying it again in the future, but I'm not sure yet. easy. overwhelming. 2 stars deducted for this.

Very impressed and stronger than you think. I have previously purchased these (Ultrasack) 55 gallon 2 meter bags for my 32 gallon trash cans, they were also very strong but too big. They fit perfectly. I rake and sack wet leaves/acorns/small twigs/trash in the yard etc. and fill the sack completely. I bought a standard Lowe's 44 gallon Brute bin (great quality). I loved the trash can but was tricked into accidentally buying the 42 gallon sacks that were right next to it. I have tried unsuccessfully to stretch these pouches to fit the jar. After the 5th bag I decided to see if I could find something that would fit better. First off, yes they are FAT. You will notice it immediately. Comes with twist ties which I hope I won't loosen until I've used all the pockets.
