Bought for my new 2008 Chevy Tahoe who lives outside hoping to protect the dash and black leather seats from the scorching TX sun. The fit and finish of the umbrella is phenomenal. As others have said there is a 1 inch gap in the parts, but if there weren't a gap it would be a headache getting in and out of position. Slam him in there, pull down the sun visors to keep him down. Place and you're good to go.

This is a quality sun visor that fits perfectly on the windshield. It feels substantial, unlike the flexible parasols you find in stores. Cools the car noticeably and does not let the sun's rays through the windshield. This keeps the dashboard cool and protects the plastic surfaces and leather seats inside. I use mine daily. It folds in on itself almost like an accordion. It also looks like a custom order from Chevy.

I purchased this product and it is advertised as a custom fit for my Pacifica. Well it just isn't. It doesn't fit exactly and looks like any other generic device. It's okay, but hard to maneuver in place. You'll have to use visors to keep it in place as it's short. It's overpriced for what you get. I did not return the product as they are generally all the same. They aren't made for the specific model you're ordering, but they say "custom fit" anyway. IS NOT IT!

Ideal for the windshield and protects the car well from overheating. The way it folds up for storage is a bit odd and awkward, but the performance is worth it. It's obviously more expensive than most alternatives, but I bought a cheaper option on another car and figured I got what I paid for. If you want something that helps a little and seems to fit, buy cheap. If you want one that makes a big difference and fits perfectly, then it will be well worth the extra money you spend.

After reading many reviews, I decided to buy this one. I received it and it looked pretty high quality. While it gets the job done, it's by no means a custom fit, despite the company's claims. I read where others said that this is quality. Well it's true. It's thick, sturdy, durable and blocks a lot of light. It's not exactly a perfect seal, but it would be very difficult to accomplish. This is the best windshield sunshade. No more flexible clutter and flimsy stuff. Everything I've had (I currently have three and two for previous cars) fits great. It is indeed a custom. They also keep the car a lot cooler in the hot sun and I'm sure they protect the car's dashboard much better than the UV-blocking windshield itself.
