Description of 🦶 Covey Sports Foam Ankle Donut Pads - Protect Ankle Joints for Various Footwear (Sold in Pairs)

2-Pairs (4 Pads Total) of Covey Sports circular foam ankle donut pads for boots, shoes, and skates (sold in pairs). Each donut pad is 1/4" thick with self-adhesive backing and center cut-out. Padding (typically placed around the ankle knobs but good for other areas of the body as well) will fill the valleys and create focal compression when snuggly wrapped. These will also significantly improve comfort levels even where blisters have already developed by positioning the opening over the affected area before lacing skates/boots for instant relief. If using adhesive, simply peel off the backing and place adhesive to sock, clothing, or on outside of boot liner (see description for tips on use with ski/snowboard boots).

Doesn't work at all

I tried this product on my last ski trip and instead of relieving my ankle pain this product caused a donut shaped bruise around my ankle.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • No automatic

Game is a game changer good for sport

My daughter wears them on her ankles as a cheerleader and they give great support under a corset too. Definitely a game changer for her who has chronic viewing angle issues.

Saved my ride

Just cheap and effective. I had terrible pain in my ankle breaking in my new skates. After placing these simple foam donuts on my ankles, I was able to ride relatively pain free. I didn't peel off the adhesive side. I just put them in my socks

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • There are downsides

I wouldn't play skiing or hockey without them!

I have a strange bump on the inside of my right ankle. If I took it off Returned immediately. I love skiing and playing hockey, but putting the shoe on was awesome. Until I found these Covey Donuts. They're literally the only things that keep me playing. And i love to play!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I will add later

One ski trip and it was ripped from my liner

I put it on the outside of my ski boot liner then slipped it into the shell. Unfortunately it doesn't last long on me and it didn't help my ankle with my ski boots either. It seemed to help at first, but by the end of the day the shell of my boot had compressed it and ripped it off most of the way.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Long delivery time

THANK YOU!: Hockey

Finally! I was dying I tried the gel ankle pads. it helped, but not in the way I needed/wanted. I rode the pad for half a day until the pain got too bad. Decided to try the donut. MY GOD! I was the answer to my problem. I put it on my ankle and it did the magic it did. It hit (covered) the spot. I still don't know where the pressure point is in the boot (have tried melting/shaping the boot with a heat gun many times), but now I don't care. "Donut" saved my new skates from the trash. THANK YOU…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • High price

Overall they are really good.

Definitely not worth $15. They probably cost less than $1 to make. However, they offer the comfort I need to relieve my ankle in skates. It works. I didn't want to cry anymore after putting on my skates and felt nothing while skating. My advice is not to use glue. Why bother? Your foot and boot hold it in place and it doesn't move. Just stick it where you feel most comfortable and tie your skates nice and tight.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Some flaws
