Great product! I look forward to the manufacturer making different sizes to accommodate large and small pots and jars. A large inner clamping lip would have helped. But once you figure it out, it works well. Ideal for pots with 2 handles.

They are hard to get on pots with an edge and a bit small for my big pots. When I cook, I cook for at least 4 people. It's really stressful but I have to be careful not to let my food fall out because my pans are big. It cleans well, things can be difficult to clean when the pasta or hamburger gets stuck.

I really like them and especially use them to wash legumes that shed their outer shell after soaking. This helps keep the coating in the jar as most of the nutrients are in the grain and I don't want it draining down the sink. I've also used it to strain water after cooking pasta or noodles. They are also easy to clean and odorless.

I often use these with different sized pots and they are very useful. The lip on the inside overlaps the pot to reduce spills and the clips hold tight enough. I find this works better on larger pans as the small strainer sponge curves to fit smaller ones, but just a little care goes a long way to avoid spilling all over the place. This product is great for multiple pots. However, I have found that filling the pot to more than 2/3 will result in the pasta overflowing. That was my real test for this detachable filter. It works with multiple sizes, however. If you're using it on a pan with pot sides, you'll need to attach it with clips next to those pot sections.
