I get soaked while doing the dishes or cooking. It worked like a charm! My shirt stayed dry and free of food stains and other particles! Definitely a bargain price to keep me out of the mess! Now I can cook and clean guests without making a fool of myself. A sponge will remove any dirt from this apron. It's quite stiff at first, but it's easy to forget I was wearing it!

***Update*** The seller came forward and replaced my damaged apron. The new one is perfect and I am very satisfied! I have just received it. The color and style are great and I can say they will definitely keep me clean and dry. However, it is damaged. There are some blackened holes in the folds and some pretty extreme stretch points. I will use this anyway as I need it now and it was cheap. I just wish it hadn't arrived damaged.

Apart from my colleagues laughing at me the first time I wore it for saying I look like a mistress who is in bondage, the apron itself keeps me dry. The only thing I would do differently would be to think about the color first as there is nothing pink in my kitchen maybe if I could I could get the color that better looks so i can just hang it somewhere to drive like hang a hook somewhere near the sink and hang aprons there but i just have to hang it because it's pink. OMG. This is the best thing I've bought this year! I work in the kitchen of a very busy Chili's restaurant and I run my dishwasher at night and get soaked every night. Got the apron in the mail yesterday an hour before my shift, I wore it and stayed dry all night. It's scary to work when you're soaked to the skin. Thank you thank you thank you. I'm a bit shocked by all the positive reviews about it. When we opened the package our house smelled like the worst smell imaginable, something like a dead animal. Not just the usual exhaust smell.
