Perfect Fit for My Plumbing Project!

As a result of using this product, I found that it was easy to install and provided a tight, secure connection for my pipes. The gray finish blended in seamlessly with my existing plumbing. My only con would be that the packaging could have been more eco-friendly. Overall, I'm thrilled with the quality of this coupling and would highly recommend it to others in need of a reliable compression coupling.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting compression coupling for pipe connections.
Cons
  • The weight

Blasted - Tubing, Fittings & Supplies

This product claims to be 150 psi. I added one of these to either side of my irrigation system's vacuum valve so I can take it off in the winter. Within 20 seconds of turning on the water, the clutch broke and water was splashing everywhere. My water pressure is only about 60 psi so should be within that fitting. Now I'm wet and disappointed.

  • Generally OK, but...

Didn't work in rough piping

Didn't work. I was trying to use this to fix a broken line in my garden irrigation system. I connected the pipes according to the instructions and double checked. Each time, the pressure of the water ripped the thing apart instantly. After two failed attempts I didn't dare to put it underground even if I could get it to work (which I couldn't). I ended up buying a different connector type/brand and it worked great the first time. I would reject this product if I were you.
