Crafters Choice 1701: Heavy Duty Silicone Soap Mold for 12 Bars - Efficient and Durable Review

I LOVE this plate shape. I am a soap maker making CP soap. I was skeptical of this shape because it has burrs that push the bars in so they can be cut. I LOVE this feature. I get 12 perfect bars every time! For the price you MUST own it.

Extra strong silicone mould. The soap comes out of the mold easily and cleaning is a breeze. Very sturdy but obviously needs a full floor support like a cookie sheet or similar to move around. Keep the shape straight or your bars will become uneven. Ready-made bar cutters make cutting much easier.

If you can't afford a flapper mold this is a better and much cheaper alternative. The form has no delimiters. It has grooves that create score lines on the soap, making it easier to cut. The soap slides out like a dream. Bars of very good size are obtained. I have three different Crafter's Choice molds and love them all.

I bought this soap mold after reading other reviews. The reviews were really very accurate that this is a great shape. My soap comes out very easily and the lines ensure my cut soap has nice rectangular pieces. I like big bars of soap and this mold allows me to fill them to the brim and still hold their shape. The shape is a bit pricey but worth it.
