No real masters and the worst product you could ever buy.

They literally have ridges left. Absolutely embarrassing processing. I don't expect much from a crescent wrench. Who? But after seeing them and digesting them briefly, it's immediately clear that they're half-A** fakes. I highly doubt that this is actually a product of the Masters. You can't get any crazier than this.

Pros
  • The best in their niche
Cons
  • Exchange availability

Poor quality - sharp edges

Expected master quality but these wrenches don't live up to the expectations. The large wrench at the top of the screw has sharp edges. There is a high probability that you will cut your hand while working with it. Mine needs to be sanded. All three keys look poorly cut in the hole without even edges. I was expecting these defects from a $5 key, but unfortunately these keys now have this problem as well.

Not too pretty for wrenches

I've used Craftsman tools my whole life and have quite a few. It has always been a quality brand. I have a large two piece wheeled tool box in my garage. I bought them to replace some missing parts and only had a few weeks before I noticed rust on them. Sure, I live in Florida where everything rusts over time, but I have other craft tools that are over 25 years old and still haven't rusted. Stainless steel isn't supposed to rust, so I'm amazed at its quality.

Looks like old craftsman quality!

There have been some negative reviews on this and I'm wondering if they bought from one of the alternative suppliers and got a fake as what I got was top notch. (I went with the Revain Prime supplier.) It came in the new red Craftsman packaging that you'll see at Lowe's. The wrenches worked smoothly, their surfaces were well polished, there was no vibration that I had seen with cheap crescent wrenches. I often bought Craftsman. But the quality has greatly decreased. It was like old times. I…

No master of the past

3 wrenches. The metal is rough. The adjustment wheel is loosened, then tightened. Poorly made. Unlike the gloss and tight tolerances of the old master. Too bad the Craftsman name is printed on the instruments. The overall quality is average to poor. Other reviews say they are made in China. Forgot to look before throwing away the packaging. But I believe them. I've been buying Craftsman since the mid 60's. I know how they used to be. My grown children have taken away all my old tools. I need…

Disappointed - just not guaranteed, premium brand

This was a major disappointment - well below average at best. Not complete rubbish, but nothing I would ever buy again/or ever personally buy. (I actually kept the set as I had to stock up on an extension for convenience, but I would go back if they were for daily or weekend projects.) Compared to the old (20 year old) Craftsman wrench set they are too heavy . , too thick/bulky and too loose to be comfortable or even useful in some situations. (They have a larger jaw opening over the previous…

Cheap Chinese crap it's an insult to a craft brand

I had my work tool box stolen, mostly 20 year old or more craft tools so needed a replacement. I took out these packing things and checked them. The jaws are loose in their channels resulting in a lot of side-to-side rocking, the dials are loose and sloppy making it very difficult to set the wrench to size and need to be adjusted with each turn of the wrench, and the surfaces are rough with many ridges on the handles and bolsters. Obviously they won't stand up to serious use at work, in fact…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
