Handy tool that works well with wrenches

I have various sized channel locks but this tool comes in handy because of the crescent wrench jaws which are better suited to larger bolts and can be tightened with plenty of strength.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Something different

The coolest tool I never knew or needed!

hard to tell from the list as they don't state the obvious: you put the wrench on the bolt/nut then squeeze the vise handle and it clamps whatever you are so you can let go, and he stays tied!

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • boring packaging

master rules! :)

I needed to remove an old dripping fixture in my shower. No one could loosen it with a regular wrench. I think the plumber used some kind of putty or something hardened. I received this key today and got the damn clip off in no time. Thank you Revain and Handyman!

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Safety

much better than the standard crescent wrench

I don't usually use crescent wrenches because I don't like how loose they can be. This tool solves that problem and is a great all-around tool to take with you. It takes the best of both worlds (adjustable handle and vise) and brings them together.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • blank

Get this adjustable wrench

The ubiquitous crescent-shaped wrench. Everyone has it and for good reason. They're damn comfortable. This craftsman's key with lock is the bees' knee. It's still a wrench, but it's also a pair of pliers. It's also damn comfortable to hold. Must have a hand tool for every tool set.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • No Instructions

Slightly larger

After tightening a stubborn nut or bolt in a crescent motion, the added vise-like cam handle provides a very secure grip and can prevent rounding that can occur with even a very good crescent wrench. After the initial loosening, the application is effective without additional measures. Nice tool for the drawer.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Works as advertised, nice surprise

Great for when you need a wrench in the shop. One of my favorite tools to speed things up. I am very satisfied with the work - the locks are strong and light. The release lever does not get pinched unlike vise wrenches and is much easier to use. If I lost all my tools this would be one of the first ones I would buy again.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Rescue for stubborn screws!

I've used a lot of crescent wrenches and the biggest problem is that most of them move when a lot of pressure is applied. This wrench does what is advertised, it grabs the bolt when it needs to and when I need to adjust and turn quickly it does exactly that and still won't go even if I don't clamp the bolt I'm tightening or must remove! good price, good quality I would and referred to many friends!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Can be used either as a regular crescent key by activating the locking mechanism until the key is tight or as a locking key by tightening the key on the screw and then applying the mechanism. Either way, you get a much more comfortable grip to work with, with a much better grip as it fits your hand better than a regular thin-handled crescent wrench.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
