CRAFTSMAN 6-Piece Small Screwdriver Set for Jewelers (CMHT65043) Review

This is the best miniature screwdriver set I have ever owned. I've bought and bent so many other brands but this master set really holds up and can take some damage. You will not be disappointed.

If you want to work with something like a watch, this isn't the right screwdriver set. It's a little big for the small screws I wanted to remove. I had to get another set to mount the small screws that hold the battery in my watch. I cannot recommend this jewelry repair kit.

Over the years I've spent a fortune buying cheap precision screwdriver sets that become useless after a few uses. Cheap screwdrivers have small, hard-to-grip handles, brittle tips, and bad screw heads. This set is a real find. Big grips, great steel in the handle and tips that get the job done.

Craft tools have long been recognized as the best in their class. I am very happy with it. The set contains screwdrivers in the most common sizes. They are well made and the price is right. I would like some sort of case to store the set, but there are no complaints about the screwdrivers themselves.

I needed a set of mini screwdrivers and they met my needs. I trust the Craftsman name and they seem to live up to their standards. Looking back, I wish I had a set with a case to keep them together so they don't hang around in my toolbox. But that's personal preference. I think they are good value for money and would recommend them to others.

This kit is $7. The difficulty in getting the small screw is often that the tool handles are usually tiny to fit the screw, so you can't leverage a complex screw. And since they're mostly mechanically driven with factory torque, that's even more frustrating. They have (within reason) the same handles/handle sizes as conventional tools. This greatly simplifies its use on electronic devices and watches. You might still need your tight space electronics kit, but if not, great.

Doesn't look fancy. Many new designs look very good, but this one does. like a set of screwdrivers. There is a lot of talk about CRAFTMAN not making quality tools. Regardless of the brand name, this set works great. The material on the ends of the drivers is strong and doesn't bend as easily as many fancy ones.
