Affordable alternative that does almost anything

It's free! And it works great with my Prusa i3 printer at home. I have only used this for printing filament but so far everything has worked out just fine. The print quality isn't as good when compared to other slicing programs like Cura or Simplify3d (which are also very expensive). But if you're looking to do some quick prints without having an entire suite of tools then craftware will work well enough. Just make sure you use gcodes generated from another program such as Marlin firmware…

  • Limited user manual and a bit complicated for beginners and people who are new to 3d printing
