FITMENT:for Ford 1993 and newer 4.2L 4.6L 2-valve engines,4.6L 4-valve and 5.4L and 6.8L V-8 engines while installing timing chains.Similar to Rotunda 303-448,6024,525219. MATERIAL:Hardened chrome molybdenum steel and coated with black oxide finish.Resistance on rust,deformation and crack.A long lasting finish. AVOID DAMAGE:These engines are not Free Wheeling engines meaning that if the crankshaft is rotated during timing chain installation(Jumped Timing),it can cause significant damage to the Pistons and Valves if the cylinder heads are not removed. CORRECT INSTALLATION POSITION:Easily install over the crankshaft and engine front cover alignment dowel to position the crankshaft at top-dead-center. USAGE:This tool slides easily over the crankshaft and seamlessly locks into place with the wood ruff key.You only need to rotate the crankshaft with tool attached to crank so that the slot in the handle locks into the engine cover alignment dowel pin,ensuring the engine is at the correct TDC point avoiding extreme damage and costly repairs.

Efficient Crankshaft Alignment Tool

This tool is a lifesaver when it comes to aligning the crankshaft on my car. It is very easy to use and compatible with a wide variety of engines. The lightweight design makes it perfect for use on the go, and the precision alignment ensures that my car runs smoothly. The only downside is that it may not work with all engine types.

A good thing. for tools and equipment

The tool worked well. It's actually quite difficult to align it with the alignment pin, but there's no way around it. If you buy it I will assume you know what you are doing. However, worked great to work with the head gasket on my 03 5.4

REQUIRED for 5.4 liter 3 valve timing

I ordered one off Ebay complete with other tools needed for timing work on a Ford Triton engine. One from Ebay was so poorly made that it was unusable. This one was PERFECT and way cheaper than the one the YouTube mechanic recommended.
