Requires modification

I had to shorten the valve spring compressor to make it work on my engine but once I figured it out it worked fine. I also learned that you need wedges on both sides to fully lock the VVT.

Essential for any Ford tuning job

This kit is exactly what you need when tuning a Ford engine. I recently replaced all the rollers and upgraded the oil pump on my 07 F150 and it would not have been possible without this kit. I've scoured the web and this is by far the best price for these tools. I didn't bother using the phaser lock connector.

Poor quality, good for timing belt tools

Tools are poorly made, crankshaft tool and spring valve must pre-install be modified after use. (Loops for AC compass clearance for crank tool, valve tool won't even bolt on without loops). Didn't use a phaser lock or cam chain brake, didn't even think about the crank bolt, the threads are rubbish. I was planning to only use this setting once for my personal car, so after changing it it worked. Would not recommend for reuse.

Had to be changed, another part broke, I have blisters

The valve tool had to be modified to work on a 2010 5.4 3 valve, it will not engage the threads of the tool. I had to shave off the adjustable ball. 21 the valve in the lip of the pusher holder broke off and I had to fish it out of my head. After all 24 valves were done I was left with 3 huge knurl blisters probably because I'm not the type of mechanic who wears rubber gloves. I'm a man, but the knurling is too aggressive.
