Works great but treat it like a consumable

This is the third time I've used the Creality magnetic build surface. I'm printing with eSun PETG, which requires a bed temperature of 70°C. As others have pointed out, the surface demagnetizes over time and at higher temperatures. In addition, bubbles begin to form on the underside, which are not visible from above, but create an uneven surface. If I print almost every day (but not 24/7) it takes me about 7 months for the printing surface to degrade enough to affect prints. Check the floor…

Be prepared when you buy this product.

I was very excited when I finally got the magnetic plate for my 3D printer. What a disappointment! Nothing can be printed on it. I checked the reviews so I knew I had to stick the adhesive part over the slanted eye so the magnetic board would sit squarely on the bed. I took the time to make sure it was lined up correctly and glued on the bubble free adhesive part of the system. Annoying alignment, easy to damage, carry marks from previous prints to new prints

After some work, I mainly only use it for prints with a large underside that is difficult to remove from the glass. Otherwise I use normal glass mirror tiles. The biggest issue with this finish is actually an issue with the printer itself. The CR-10 uses a metal core circuit board as the base of the build platform, which is notoriously not flat.
