Looks great as a heater core. Robust construction and good materials. However, the cables are too short for the standard Ender 3 series (about 9 inches). If I can move the electronics from the front of the printer to the back, they *may* fit. (not yet determined) Otherwise I have to find some kind of extension cord.

The stock length of the 5 plus ender is 55 inches. It's 36 inches. Plugs with JST locking are installed at the shaft ends. They have bare wire ends. They can work if you connect the stem and install the JST connectors. They can also work if you want to be more creative. But don't think that you can get them and use them effortlessly. I knew this when I bought it, so deducting the stars is based solely on Creality's superficial and effortless product offering.

I wish I had read other reviews more carefully about the length. But it's really too small to get at the motherboard. If there was a black plug at the end of the cable, everything would be fine. But since that didn't happen, I had to reconfigure the wires to make it do. And I don't like how the wires are sitting now, but I need to finish the seal so it must be temporary. I considered cutting the old wire and splicing it together but didn't want to risk a fire. Look for a 1m cable or one with a…
