Another great printer from Creality

If you've been working with 3D printers for a while, you're familiar with the Creality name and this printer is right for you again. The Ender 3 MAX doesn't differ much from the Ender 3 Pro, other than the larger printing platform. In my case it allows me to print large batches of prints so I don't have to be around to remove prints and restart the printer and I can just get on with my work. Sensor, larger alignment knobs, and the newer hot-end assembly that Creality has been using lately. The…

Do not rely on Creality customer service

I would like to emphasize that my problem is with the printer NOT the seller. Comgrow had great support and I probably would have kept the printer if I hadn't had my experience with Creality. This rating does not reflect the printer itself (although mine was defective) but rather the expectation of support you can expect from the manufacturer. My problem started when trying to get email support as I couldn't find a support phone number. everywhere, everywhere, everywhere. I emailed Creality…

Pros
  • Silent motherboard: Ender 3 Max uses TMC2208 chip driver imported from Germany. It effectively reduces engine noise and vibration, creating a comfortable and quiet working environment for you.
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Large volume, machine is better with upgrade

The main advantage of this machine is its larger assembly volume. Aside from that, it comes with a few bells and whistles. It has a 4.2.2 board which is louder. It doesn't bother me because I'm not in the room while I'm doing the prints, but I have to think about it. A lot of people upgrade boards to the newer Creality or use something like the Bigtreetech board. One more note on the 4.2.2 board: it has a terrible single-dial LCD interface. It's awkward to navigate. Using Octoprint helps…

Pros
  • Dual Cooling Fans: Axial cooling fan promotes heat dissipation continuously. Dual-blow fans ensure rapid cooling of the extruded fiber. Always get great results.
