Top quality colored pencils!

I really like these pens. Most of my works are portraits of medieval artworks. There are so many brands out there that it's hard to choose. I have to admit that I have bought most if not all of the leading brands. So far the way they apply, blend, heavy or light is my choice of pens. They don't break in the sharpener. Aha! They go well with prismacolor for Faber Castell. Lightfastness not a problem. If you have money or want to expand your collection this is a must have.

Pros
  • nice little thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Do not buy in box

This was a Christmas present for anyone who loves Caran d'Ache pencils. She started with pencils that were in a tin can. She guards it like a treasure. Since she needed new pens I bought her so she would have a nice box that matched the quality of the pens. I was shocked on Christmas day when she opened her gift and fell in love with it. She opened the wooden box and found that the left hinge was broken, as well as a wooden tray that was attached to the top. All the excitement and joy just left

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic

Very good quality, BEAUTIFUL pencils

I am very happy with these pencils. I bought these hoping to add to my full Polychromos set so my review might be more of a comparison but I'm not an expert so I'll have to go with what I have. I find that they harmonize very well with each other and cannot balance each other's colors. Pablo has lighter, softer tones that Polychromos does not have, and Polychromos has many skin tones that Pablo's lacks. Sure, there's some overlap, but both shades are unique enough to make each a worthwhile…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
