🔠 Exploring the ABCs with Creative Baby Interactive Playmat Alphabet: A Fun Learning Experience Review

I bought this play mat for my 6 month old baby. He loves horseback riding and I was afraid he would hurt his head on the wooden floor. This is a great mat for him to play on. However, no interactive pen is included and I can't find it anywhere. After assembling the rug it looks like more pieces could be added to make it bigger, but it's already a good size at 9 pieces.

Bright, fun, cute designed and thick enough to provide a cushion for crawling and playing. Got this for my baby when he was learning to crawl and has been enjoying it for a few weeks. He's holding up well, though throwing toys at him and occasionally trying to pick apart the rug (unsuccessfully). The design is 3x3 squares but you can easily remove a row for a smaller rug or buy another and combine them for a larger rug.

So far the mat seems to be of good quality but smelled awful when first opened. I also ordered the Animal World rug and got the alphabet. My daughter is only 6 months old and still loves it but don't be surprised if the wrong one turns up! The label on the packaging still says "my animal world". Rather than mess around with sending it back and ordering a different one, we decided to just keep this one. My daughter is already standing and I wanted some cushioning if she falls and it works well.

After assembling the pieces, I wiped the mat down with a damp paper towel before letting my child play on it. When I wiped the carpet I noticed the paint was peeling and I could see white spots on the carpet as I wiped it. I could see dozens of spots of color on the paper towel. First I would like to say that I have the ABC version of this rug and it has lasted me a year with no problems, easy to clean and so on.
