This is great - best I've found so far. They are durable, the colors are completely natural and there are almost no defects in the packaging (I bought these twice). I often use pipe cleaners to make math models so my fingers hurt after a while and they are quite soft (but still hold their shape) compared to some others which is fine for my purposes. It was a great offer! $5 for endless feline fun. I really like the stems, they are a bit fluffy and the striped colors are excellent. If I were still making pipe cleaners, I would prefer them to the simple ones. However, the purpose of this batch was to entertain my 4 cats (1 kitten). Crush the stems to make them springy, or just throw them on a slippery surface and the cats will follow them everywhere.
