Used to remove tightened nuts from a used car.

I hate to say it, but I used these as sacrificial sockets to remove locknuts from my daughter's used car. They worked great, but unfortunately now in the trash along with the nuts.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Easily repairable

4 used to unlock the wheels as suggested online

2014 Lexus is250 lost key, use these sockets to remove lock nuts and it worked like a charm. I was able to save three of the four sockets after the work was done. solid product and well finished.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Cheaper than maintenance.

Ideal for unscrewing Toyota's stock locknuts, even if the woman for some reason threw away the key. Much cheaper than in a tire shop. Hit them with a 2.5lb sled, grab a crusher and you're done. sounds stupid. no

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons

After trying a few things myself (anyone had a vise?) I stumbled upon a method which involved using a 19mm (or 21mm depending on the size of your lock), a hammer and more swear words than necessary. These sockets did the job perfectly. I was able to save 3 of them,

Not for use with impact wrenches

I knew this wasn't an impact wrench head but thought it would last long enough to remove two bolts from my control arm. I used my 24v cobalt and removed the first screw. It took about 20 seconds to let go. The second bolt on the other arm was tighter. I banged on it for about 30 seconds and suddenly the base started spinning, so I assumed the bolt had come loose. So I held out for another 5-7 seconds. Pulled out the driver and the entire interior of the jack is exposed and mostly smooth. If you
