In fact I found my "missing" 13/16 spark plug head (snow blower ready for the season) the day it arrived. The head is well made and serves its purpose.
That's what I needed, there's a plastic thing in there to hold the spark plug so it doesn't fall off while you're trying to get it to the spark plug hole ignition. excellent value for money, it will cost more than that in any department store.
Pros
High marks for support and durability from testers
Bought to replace the spark plugs in an old VW. The socket works, but the rubber grommet that holds the top of the plug kept slipping into the socket and had to be pryed out with a pick after EVERY use, or the plug would go too far into the socket. It was very annoying.
Please note that the product is incorrectly listed as magnetic - it definitely isn't, just a standard plug with a rubber insert. Not bad quality but not what is advertised. $5 isn't worth returning, so I buy one with a magnet at my local brick and mortar store. Shame for shady practices.
Used to replace the plug in a Briggs & Stratton lawn mower engine. The socket fits the plug perfectly. I had no trouble getting the socket rubber isolator holder out, but again I only used the socket once. The coverage of the nest is very good and the nest looks immaculate. The socket is of great importance compared to other sockets.
Can't figure out why there is a magnet in the name. Nothing beats a magnet. If you use the rubber part of the socket to install a new plug, you will definitely dig it out of the plug. So make sure you have access to the top of the connector. That's why I bought magnetic sockets. They got what they wanted, it turned up in my search and I paid for it. And it's only $6 so I won't be returning it. Always read reviews but the job is done.
