Description of 🐸 Cressi Frog Plus Open Heel Scuba Diving Fins: Powerful and Efficient Dive Gear, Made in Italy

Utilizes patented 3 material injection molding process that consist in a comfortable foot pocket rubber that extends up the side rails of the blade. The dual density techno polymer, which forms the blade, combined with the third silicone based material creates a channeling effect. The channeling effect enables a high level of energy to be transferred in both up and down strokes of the kick pattern. Cressi’s patented foot pocket positioned below the blade. This design increases the working surface area of the blade by 20%. Features many of the great characteristics of a traditional paddle fin introducing a revolutionary blade material extremely durable and nearly indestructible.

Nice but chafed on side of foot

Very high quality but these are scuba fins (not snorkel fins) and I had to wear a boot to keep them from chafing the sides of my leg . They fit more than the stated size. They work very well and are powerful. I wouldn't buy them for snorkeling without a wetsuit and booties

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some difficulty

Classic fit and quality Cressi

Possibly the best fin I've used since wearing a ten year old version. They absolutely meet my requirements. Buy decent boots for them at least 3 miles or more, I have Aqualung boots and they fit great. Cressi is worth every penny, Cressi has been around for decades and has always done well, as has Mares whose Abyss regulator I own. Wouldn't dive with anything but this

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Expensive

Size 10 feet!: Watersports

I wear size 10 men's shoes, ordered 9 Mares 5mm hard soled boots. I thought long and hard about which fin size to buy, so I bought both S/M and M/L. S/M fit best. The M/L size was too big and the bottom of the fin covered my entire foot and I had to fully tighten the strap to keep my foot in it. I returned M/L. Be sure to order one size smaller than your actual shoe size. The white fin is S/M and the black fin is M/L.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Brief instructions

Excellent quality fins although they don't fit me

These are very well made fins although unfortunately they don't fit me. I used the size chart to determine my size - and they are too big. I swim all the time so I'm in good swimming shape although these fins aren't just for swimming as I suspect they're great for diving. Again, there's nothing wrong with fins - just my personal observations based on my usage. Selling like new but little used. who is interested

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Minor issues

Poorly designed heel strap attachment

Very good quality fins for the price BUT the heel strap attachment point is very poorly designed. The heel strap attaches through a keyhole on the side of the fin. Rotating the heel strap 90 degrees will align the hole with the protrusion on the heel strap and release from the fin. There's a pin and slot system that's supposed to prevent 90-degree rotation, but it's very flimsy and easy to break accidentally (and one of the pins broke on the fifth use, so it rotated even more freely). Waiting…

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Nothing here

beauty + performance!

It is SO convenient and very pretty! I am an advanced diver with over 120 dives. For reference, I am an 8 year old female wearing closed shoes and ordered S/M fins. Pros: - Lightweight, I'm impressed - Sufficiently stiff yet flexible - Comfortable fit! I wear them with my Cressi Isla neoprene boots, size 7. No bruises, no blisters. They have a removable plastic insert for size adjustment. If they are too tight, just take them off. Adjustable heel strap works great. These fins are quick and easy

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly

Too stiff and uncomfortable to use

Got these fins for an Open Water Diving Certification in Monterey Bay. I've dived twice in Thailand and Cancun for the Discover Scuba Diving program so I'm comparing these fins to the ones I've rented from stores. The main reason I only gave these fins 3* is that they are too stiff; I'm not in the best shape using them, but they don't seem to swim as easily as the others. I felt like I had to work harder, which is a pain when you have to swim the distance to a descending buoy and are already…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • So-so
