Description of 🧭 Cressi Scuba Diving Underwater Compass – Enhanced Readability for All Environments

The Cressi Compass with Strap and Hose Mount is a modern instrument that enables easy reading in all conditions. The magnetic compass card moves extensively in all directions, so that reading is accurate even if the instrument is not held perfectly level. The face is luminous and divided into 10° intervals. Reading can take place by looking at the instrument from above or, more easily, through a Gun-Sight Accurate special window that enables more precise tracking of your heading. Compass is equipped with a red lubber line for proper orientation. A rotating ratchet bezel with a double pointer for direction makes marking your heading and reciprocal heading quick and easy. A wide anatomical band, allows the compass to be attached to the wrist. Compass measures 2.36" (6 cm) in diameter, is 1.14" (2.9 cm) high and weighs 3.25 oz (92 g). The product is designed by Cressi and made in Taiwan. Cressi has been an Italian brand pioneer in scuba diving, snorkeling, and swimming equipment since 1946.

Any depth, any condition

Tough and bright, Cressi won't disappoint. I have had no problems with this equipment in all water conditions and at depths of up to 30 meters. Worth the investment.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Low maintenance

Looks premium

Easy to see. I installed it as a boat compass on my wife's boat. I put it in a spray paint screw cap and used the large cap as the lid. I found this compass makes an OK compact boat. Easy to read.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Modern

Like this compass in accessories for sports and outdoor activities

Well made and easy to read even in the darkest water. Great strap, long enough for a thick wetsuit and then something else. The only complaint is that like most compasses you have to align them or they will freeze and not rotate. I wish someone would make her more forgiving.

Pros
  • Still satisfied
Cons
  • boring packaging

Meets all my needs

Bought for in car use. I can use the wall window to determine the direction of movement. The compass attaches to the dashboard behind and above the steering wheel with Velcro. Excellent compass, easy to read, fully responsive to heading. High quality. A clear 5 star product.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Good for scuba navigating

I love this compass and it's less expensive than most at my local dive shop. The needle does not jam and does not rotate even when tilted. It worked very well even if there was no level. I would buy again. The bracelet is huge. I modified a home mount for use on a retractor. Works fine for my purposes.

Pros
  • Testers give high marks for support and durability
Cons
  • Zero

Nothing special but no complaints

I have recently switched from mainly holiday diving with a divemaster to local diving with a buddy but no dive professional who knows the area well. This made it much less convenient for me to get around on my own, so I wanted to add a basic compass to my gear. It works, and at least once I was able to confidently correct a friend who went to sea in search of shore. If the compass was wrong or missing, we'd have some really awkward surface navigation.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Only available in white

Looks good but is cumbersome to use.

Not sure if I'm having an issue right now as my experience with this compass has not been as described by other users. On the plus side, the compass looks great and the strap fits easily over my dry suit. It's big and easy to read. I found the luminescence to be quite faint even after shining it with a dive light for some time. Also, the compass itself had trouble finding north. When held perfectly level (it's very easy to dive not to dive) it usually points north in the same direction as my…

Pros
  • Decent performance
