Already rusting at 7 months!

Well, after 7 months this teapot is already rusting on the inside. This means that the enamel coating must have worn off. So we drank an icing that can't be healthy. It's a shame it's of such poor quality. Otherwise he is attractive and has pleasant features. But for over 60€ I would have expected a lot more durability. I've had much cheaper kettles that last much longer. I will not buy this brand again for any of their products.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

A kettle that doesn't pour. Good (delicate) decoration.

I like the design and the color. Too bad I didn't realize the designers created the perfect little spout rocket nozzle. The pressure of the boiling charge will not peacefully escape from its hot funnel. A kettle that doesn't pour = almost useless. Also, it ripped in the sink the first time I cleaned it - before I even used it. Yes, I'm a clumsy bum, but that wasn't a bad blow either; just ring a little. So, it's a decoration/yard sale - brought back my old chrome dome for regular use.

best teapot we have ever bought

We work at home and drink a lot of tea, usually loose tea. Therefore, we use it many times every day. The kettle heats water very quickly, quite economically. It appears to be solidly built. The foldable handle makes it easy to fill the kettle. It also has a clear and loud whistle that gets louder over time. We hear it all over the house. This is a beautiful teapot. We bought the red version and we love how it looks in our kitchen. The handle gets uncomfortably hot when it whistles. Boiling…

Great kettle! - Cookware

I LOVE this kettle because it is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Its spaciousness suited me perfectly as I usually only make tea for myself and didn't need a huge teapot. Le Creuset's capacity is also enough to make tea for 2-3 people, which is nice too. I also love it for its powerful whistle which I hear in other parts of my little house. Many kettles only whistle very loudly when they are full. This is not a problem. The lid fits snugly, which is a double-edged sword: it won't fall off while

not well done in the Kitchen & Dining category

I expected more from this brand. What's good about it, what's bad about it: Pros: Heats up very quickly due to the wide, flat base Loud, reliable whistle, audible throughout the house and yard Gorgeous color Reclining handle for easy adding of water and washing Cons: Bad pouring! (wut?!) The gaskets are cheaply made and loosely installed, just a few extra metal rings added to a good pot. The seals began to rust within a few weeks. I am very disappointed with the rust and loose rings. But I…

Good kettle but nothing special

I like Le Creuset pots and pans for their style and durability and I bought this kettle hoping it would bring the same benefits. When I receive the package I'm pleased with the style and unique color scheme, but it's not as durable as most Le Creuset products I'm familiar with. It's still a quality product, but you're not buying a teapot to be passed on to your grandchildren. I expect other brands will offer longer lasting pots at the same or lower price point if you're looking for this. The…
