Efficiently Solve Tightening Challenge with CRL Universal Spanner Wrench Review

The first task was to properly tighten the Motorola style antenna mount. Mission accomplished. This versatile L-key tool filled a long gap in my tool kit.

pens break on first use. Is there a way to get replacement 1/8" pins? I hate returning an item because of 1 badly tempered pin. Otherwise you will have to return before the 30 day window.

This is a quality product but could use a little more durability. It's a good thing that several pens of different sizes were included with the tool. I have a small problem: there is only one 2mm pin in the kit instead of two. But there were five 3mm pins, not four. I think I can resharpen a 3mm pencil to 2mm.

Great little tool, good versatility with interchangeable pins and surprisingly good workmanship (I was skeptical). The case is also of surprisingly good quality. I was able to loosen a particularly stubborn drill nut that my homemade tool couldn't loosen. One of those tools you don't know you have until you need it. Workarounds usually result in irreparably damaging the fastener, making the tool indispensable.

This is very expensive, especially compared to cheap foreign wrenches with lenses. About 5 or 6 times more. BUT. They broke right and left because they are not designed for industrial work. This part is surprisingly heavy and thick, the pins are well machined and almost snap into the holes (2mm pin with 2mm hole is tight). I could actually tug on it to remove a particularly tight nut while the cheap versions buckled and snapped. So for 50€ it will last me a long time.

I have limited wrench use, but I put the Hypertune kit in my CGEM telescope mount and ran into some real problems using the workarounds recommended for the kit have. . I needed a good wrench to hope for success. It worked. It's clearly intended for situations that don't require a very large wrench - perfect for my use as my larger wrench doesn't have the right size pins. can't stand it No big deal - they hold up great.

Designed for both metric and imperial sized pins but comes with two metric boxes making this set "universal" only in a universe outside of the US (and Liberia, not to mention ) lies another stubborn opponent). This well made wrench has saved me hours of work with stubborn fasteners with badly worn holes. This little wrench is very well made and I knew it right away when I changed the pin set in the head. Once fully tightened, there was very little play/wiggle. You can even tell that great attention to detail has been paid as all pins have a slight knurling to help your fingers grip them.
