Bad quality: Injectors

The quality is not what I expected. It didn't have a valve stem to connect a gauge or release pressure. The tube was very thin-walled.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some small things

My gas leaks right away

I buy this because the material hopes it will last but the regulator started leaking gas a few weeks after installation, very disappointed

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Does what it should. but that .

Does what it should. but lacks the Schrader valve that was on the standard rail. So you don't have the option to check the fuel pressure or bleed the fuel pressure when you need to do fuel line work. But. that's what you get if you don't want to spend Mopar's money.

Pros
  • Easy handling
Cons
  • Little things

Finally a Crown product that isn't hot junk

I bought this Crown product because there was no other choice in this case. Everything I've bought from Crown has been cheap Chinese junk. It's also made in China but looks reasonable. I don't know why people call it "thin", but it seems to have the same wall thickness as the original steel rail. However, the lack of a Schrader valve is really annoying and it wouldn't cost too much to add them. I plan on adding my own by soldering in a "Line Piercing Seat Valve" for a 7/8 OD.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Long delivery time

The smart solution

This is a smart solution to replace a twice the price original Jeep fuel rail. I installed it on a 2004 Grand Cherokee parked for my daughter on the mean streets of Hoboken, NJ. There was a serious leak in her regular fuel line, preventing the car from driving under its own power. The rail went in with no problems and I used the new o-rings and filter basket available from Revain (UREMCO 4-6 Injector Gasket Kit, 1 pack). You need some sort of lube for the o-rings to keep them from cracking and…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Something different

Fixed a fuel leak on my 2003 WJ

My WJ had a "stomp" leak, a stock Chrysler unit was about $250 so I settled on this unit. It doesn't have a shredder port like the OEM unit so I can never check the fuel pressure or depressurize it when working on the fuel system, but for less than half the price I think it's a fair compromise. You will need to get a new set of injector o-rings as your current injector o-rings will likely not fit. After you put the new o-rings on you need to lubricate them with some mineral oil/petroleum jelly…

Pros
  • , cool product
Cons
  • Not satisfied
