I find it strange that so many people leave such negative reviews. It feels like people have unrealistic expectations of me. I mean it's a cable lock that costs $11. It does the job and works as it should, which I think is exactly what I should be getting for the price. I've used it several times now on the slopes with no problems.

I just needed a cheap lock to keep my snowboard safe. This lock is easy to use, lightweight and easily fits in my pocket. Although it's bigger than my other lock I own, it's half the price of this one. The only downside to this lock is that the length of cable does not lock firmly when the lock is locked. The cable may still be slack when locked, so make sure the cable is fully extended and any excess cable is rolled up.

This may be due in part to my use case, but it didn't work as I expected. I use it to protect my fridge overnight. The intent was to snap the buttons together. While this more or less works, there are some feature limitations that make it less than ideal otherwise do it. Lock it without a combo.
