Mounted on a fixed winch, this line handler does what it's designed to do, deflecting 3/16 inch diameter aircraft lines under a load of approximately 500 pounds. The chrome coating is peeling off the rollers. but it remains functional.

received this key quickly. I opened the box and was surprised that it was of decent quality. Other reviews say the rollers are stainless steel. They are, but I use it on an ATV so I don't care. Much cheaper for the wallet than a warning.

This fairlead fits small winches around 2000 lbs. The rolls have a large overlap, which makes it almost impossible for the cable to get caught in a corner. Consider the low price, and this guide is a pretty good deal.

We bought this wakeboard winch guide. It does its job flawlessly, and it was the cheapest! The rollers are chrome plated so they will scratch if using a steel cable.

available The product I received, although fast, differs geometrically from the images. This doesn't fit my very common quad-bolt pattern (5/8" hole spacing smaller than the usual 4 7/8. And the angles of the vertical reel hubs with respect to the baseplate are much larger. In short, this won't work not for my applications (Suzuki Eiger with Superwinch). Also, sending it back will cost me more than the hassle. It's marked CSI W116. Anyone want it?

After reading the reviews I see that my problem is not uncommon. The picture does not match the dimensions of what I received. Maybe the wrong one was sent? Anything I can think of. That aside, it seems like a quality product just doesn't work. The space between the pulleys limits the movement of the winch cable wound back and forth on the winch spool. The mounting screw size is 4 1/4" instead of 4 7/8" as specified and required. We were promptly refunded and I've already ordered another one…

I've ordered 4 of these, 3 of one version and one that looks like an older version. They're great for the relatively light project I'm using them for. They were all packed in an individual box, all but one was also in bubble wrap. The packaging doesn't matter anyway, it will take some effort to damage it.
