Complete garbage

I wanted to use this to measure rotor thickness. But it's almost useless. Even if the scale were more accurate, poor manufacture would nullify all measurements. The materials are crap and the rivets are loose making the caliper arms very wobbly. Not worth the money at all.

Works with brake pressure gauges

I finally got the chance to use these calipers on the rotors on my son's car. It's more comfortable to use than my old calipers with a dime on spacers. Although the vernier scale is a bit difficult to read in the narrow wheel arch, I decided against a digital scale, which can break and then become unusable.

Pros
  • Diagnostic, testing and measuring tools
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Decent tool, good price, but learn how to read traditional caliper scales.

First off I can see people are confused reading this but if you do a google search or watch a youtube video you should be fine. Don't be discouraged if you need to research this, I work in tech and I meet people who forget how to read them after not using them for a while. was a decent price and requires no batteries. When I was an auto technician a few years ago, I had a Matco digital caliper that stopped working. Since the repair will cost around $40-$50, I looked for something else and it…

Pros
  • brake gauges
Cons
  • weak
