It took me 3" clearance to remove a screw on one of the motor mounts. It works great. The only thing I would change is to use a 1/2" socket instead of a 3/8" socket. It worked.

Good quality tool. I am using this with a specific CNC machine. Thanks to this deep socket, I can tighten the collet nut even with the end mill installed! This socket covers the entire end mill leaving room for me to tighten the nut with a standard ratchet.

I used this to remove and install a Honda Element passenger side motor mount. These Honda fasteners have a very long bolt and if you are using a wrench there is not much room to use the wrench or apply the torque required to turn the nut. My deep bushings didn't reach the bolt so I bought this and had no issues with spacing as it's very long. It worked like a charm and I'm glad I bought it. It's a task-specific tool and you might not use it all the time, but when you need it, nothing else works
