Worked as expected in Bearings

This tool did an excellent job installing front hubs on a 2004 BMW 325I. Highly recommend this to avoid the hammer and socket method. Prevents bearing damage. It is recommended to use WD40 in the threads of this tool during installation.

Simplifies bearing assembly. The tool lasts 2 times. Really well built!

Don't worry about bearing alignment or damage to the bearing if you try to install with a hammer and nut. The tool is very well made and will last forever if cared for properly. Worth the money (less than the price of a new bearing if you accidentally damaged it because you didn't have that tool).

Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

Save yourself the hassle and buy this

I've done several jobs on an E36 front wheel bearing without tools and getting a new bearing to work all at once is always a problem. At the same time, it is in place and installed in 3 minutes. It might be a bit pricey for what it is, but it makes life so easy. Now if only they could make a tool that removes the bearing and always takes out the inner race! It would be magical!
