The magnetic extension was the right tool for removing and replacing spark plugs in my son's 2010 Prius. No problems and reasonable price.

I see many people have mixed opinions on this tool. This worked fine on my 2013 Toyota Corolla with Denso factory plugs, but I had to remove the passenger side of the hood. Great tool for the price.

This socket fits 2011 Toyota Prius spark plugs and is held inside by clothing as long as the 'thin wall' socket gets the spark plugs out of the cylinder head. It's hard to find a thin-walled 14mm in a clothing auto parts store.

This cartridge fits Denso SC20HR11 and SC16HR11 Spark Plugs for Toyota Prius 2010-2015. It may fit other Toyota models, but you need to check. This is perfect for my 2013 Prius spark plugs. I recommend this socket for do-it-yourself spark plug replacement, it's not easy to find, no shop had anything like this except for a Toyota dealer and they don't sell them.

I bought this for a 14mm spark plug and the hole in the center is not big enough to fit the top of the spark plug. I'll probably buy another one and try again. As you can see from the attached photos, the Denso SC20HR11 does not fit well in the magnetic spark plug socket. I think they made a ton of these spark plug boots. I will return this defective one and get a replacement if it's still the same.

Tool does not work right out of the box for Iridium spark plugs in my 2010 Prius, Denso SC20HR11. The hole in the center of the tool isn't big enough for the top of the spark plug's white ceramic insulator, so it doesn't fit well enough to turn over. I had to take a drill and enlarge the center hole for the tool to fit my car's spark plugs.
