It worked as expected. Definitely doesn't seem strong enough to work, but did the job of tightening the crank nut. Some have commented that it bent when removing the nut, but I use a punch to remove the nuts so I can't comment on that process. Has worked well once so far.

It fits my application just right. But the metal is soft. I don't use effects on things like crankshaft mounts. I tried to remove the fastener with a crowbar attached to the tool as a lever. The hole was simply rounded, and the tool began to bend. CTA please use higher grade metal.

Purchased to make a timing belt for a 2010 Volvo 2.4 non-turbo engine. As you can see it is not designed to install a dowel pin on a balancer. All of these "white block" motors are the same in terms of balancer. Also if you compare the item I received with the item shown by the seller, they are different. You have an open area where the pen should be. Shipping was fast, the design of the tool looks good but it just won't work.
