It is definitely a darker color than the picture but still attractive. I would describe it as dark turquoise. The sleeves are almost 2 1/2 - 3 inches too long otherwise the heavy weight in the 135-140lb range works well. This is a top that can be worn underneath as it is very casual. I tried this and the pant version (Cuddl Duds Women's Fleece Wear with Stretch Leggings, Black, Plus Size) in both sizes. The shirt fit perfectly (although the sleeves are a bit longer) but the pants were too big for me in the middle. I'm 5'10, 150lbs, US dress size 10, bra size 34FF [UK], and there was plenty of room in the shirt. She is warm and cosy! (I am sending back the medium pants.)

I ordered Cuddl Duds women's fleece in two colors with a small elastic crew neck top (blue stripe and charcoal). I found this blue striped to be soft, stretchy, very tight yet comfortable (smaller or less stretchy isn't comfortable - I'm 5ft 4", 112lbs) uncomfortable (absurdly tight in my arms and I have very skinny hands) I might consider going a size up for the charcoal but the fabric wasn't as soft as the blue stripe I kept the blue striped top and returned the charcoal.

I have many Cuddl Duds fleece tops and pants and love them all. I can get most of these at Walmart for about $6 less, but I liked that blue color so bought them here. The color is actually a little more turquoise than the blue shown in the picture, but still a beautiful colour. The fabric is the softest, coziest thing I've ever felt against my skin and I live in it all winter. I wear fleece from this brand for both everyday wear and pajamas.
