This router was recommended to me by a friend who also owns a computer shop. No fees for the products he recommends. So we bought this router and it does what we need for our home WiFi. The signal is pretty strong. The house on one level does not reach to the back room, but sets up another router in this room. An old house with very thick walls.

This router is very, very good. I tried installing it like all my previous routers but it wouldn't connect to the internet. When I followed the instructions, including unplugging the power cords and cables for the time specified in the instructions, everything worked fine. I highly recommend it.

Bought to replace my old 2.4ghz router but the 5ghz wifi signal keeps dropping out so my phone started to gobble up my online minutes while I was online. in the same room as this router (the 2.4Ghz signal seems good, I haven't seen it drop out every time I switch to it). I'm impressed. I was looking for a good, fast and inexpensive router to download OpenWRT which is my personal favorite of all custom router firmware. If you're unfamiliar, OpenWRT is very stable and versatile, but it does require some learning. Knowing this, you will not settle for less.
