They are great. They were on my wish list for a few years before I decided to buy them. I wish I didn't have to wait so long. They are super spicy and very sweet. Now I also know which knife is which color, so choosing a knife from the drawer is very easy. One of the knives I don't actually use (whatever the yellow one is), but I use longer and longer knives all the time, and the little orange one is great for slicing fruit. I would say this is definitely a good buy.

My daughters and I take part in the full 30 program and cut, cut and dice a wide variety of vegetables and fruit every day. A daughter complained that she didn't have enough knives. So for her birthday I chose this set as part of her gift. They were a great success. She loved the fun colors and the selection and availability of sheaths for each blade. My other daughter also wants a set. I think I might get one too. Where else can you get amazing knives with sheaths for under $30?

Very good excellent knife set to always have on hand. It would be more convenient if it had a holder. Not a bad price for a branded knife set, sheaths fit well but are easy to put on and take off. I am amazed at how well these knives work and how beautiful they are. Also, my already tiny work space has grown because I no longer have a large knife block - my new knives hang on the wall with a magnetic Ikea knife bar. Maybe I can cook for 45 more years with all these newfangled things! I have to add PS - I've been using these knives for less than a week and the side that comes in contact with the magnetic strip. I originally bought this because I needed a quality knife set and this set cost me the most money. However, I get a bit tired of fruit flowers when I'm making a big dinner and need the right knife for meat, bread, tomato, onion, garlic, etc. The color coding makes my search for the right tool very quick.
