I am amazed at how well these knives work and how beautiful they are. Also, my already tiny work space has grown because I no longer have a large knife block - my new knives hang on the wall with a magnetic Ikea knife bar. Maybe I can cook for 45 more years with all these newfangled things! I have to add PS - I've been using these knives for less than a week and the side that comes in contact with the magnetic strip. Scratches are already visible. Sigh. still beautiful...
