I used this pan for cheese fondue for the first time and was most impressed with the temperature control. It was very stable at setting #3 - no tuning required. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the weak and unstable fork mount. This needs to be changed for a more secure fit.

Wow! I am impressed! I did a lot of research on electric fondue sets before deciding to buy this one. I love this shop! Heats up very quickly, the temperature is set as quickly as you like. Easy cleaning. I've washed it in the dishwasher several times with no problems. I recently bought the 2nd.

It's worth it! My boyfriend and I love going to the Crucible but it is very expensive to visit. I bought this fondue pot to replicate her food and I can tell you it worked AMAZING! We cooked meat in red wine and added spices etc and it was almost exactly the same. Definitely buy it if you want!

My daughter and I each bought one to give to each other at parties. One design feature I like is that the power cord is constructed the same way as my Apple laptop's power cord. It's magnetic, so if someone gets caught on the cord, it just comes loose instead of pulling hot butter or cheese on someone. This was my only reservation about buying a corded pot, but they have solved this problem. The pots work wonderfully, are well made and have a very nice design.

Warning buyer - buyer beware: BURN HAZARD. Overall, this is a very good fondue pot. However, mine arrived with a bowl that wasn't round, meaning the ring fell off and squirted 375 degree oil when I put on the top ring (which holds the forks in place while cooking). We usually make a 3-course fondue (cheese, broth, chocolate) with this one pot: Fill the fondue pot with water to just below the screws on the handle. Love it! I used it twice in one week! I suggest turning it on 4 while melting the chocolate and stirring constantly (with a wooden spoon/spatula) as it will melt your ingredients quickly. After it melts, set it on 2 to keep it warm. I've had children use the fondue pot without incident and it's not hot outside at 2am but warm which I think is safe. The brand name is great. Other products are often used and valued. However, THIS product contains a very dangerous element that I have brought to your attention. The fork ring design is TOO SMALL for the pothole. When we first used it, the fork ring slipped in HOT OIL. Luckily our family is older and we didn't panic.
