Warning buyer - buyer beware: BURN HAZARD. Overall, this is a very good fondue pot. However, mine arrived with a bowl that wasn't round, meaning the ring fell off and squirted 375 degree oil when I put on the top ring (which holds the forks in place while cooking). This can easily lead to debilitating burns; Not to mention that I had to carefully fish the ring out of the burning oil before serving the guests. I fixed this by pushing in from the handles to make the bowl rounder and this can be tested by placing the ring on top and pulling out to the side. If there's a gap (meaning you can see the bowl sticking out the side of the ring) then you're in danger. Just be careful! It's amazing that a reputable and respected brand like Cuisinart would let this happen. The ring obviously had to be given a larger rim to cover the bowl. This question should make your legal team sweat!
