Poor quality strainers and food strainers

I'm sorry I ignored the negative reviews about this strainer and bought it for my daughter. I have a Cuisinart stainless steel strainer over my sink and have been using it for 2 1/2 years and love mine. It cleans and works great. Very durable. No sharp edges, no gaps. So I don't understand the bad reviews. Well, apparently a genius at Cuisinart changed the design. It has very sharp edges, gaps where food can get stuck and bacteria can multiply. Very disappointed. return as soon as possible…

The mesh is significantly stronger and less flexible than the Oneida strainer, the retractable handles are also stronger and thicker. All around is a winner in the long run. Highly recommended. Update: I've been using this beast for over 2 years and it looks like it's from the showroom. I use it extensively for coffee roasting (I'm a home…

Good colander for colanders and food sieves

Sturdy colander, side parts can be pulled out easily and hold over the sink. The net is small enough that you can pull anything in without worrying about it falling through. The power supply attaches to the ledge and moves back enough to allow food to get (and get) under the ledge. So if you don't turn it upside down after each wash to care for it, you'll miss out on drying out pieces of vegetables or noodles. Sometimes you can push your lip back far enough and wash it off, other times you need
