🔪 Cuisinart DLC-2ACB Chopping Blade: Enhanced Precision and Efficiency for Your Food Prep Review

The plastic on the underside that holds the blades in place is already breaking, not very well designed. We bought a shredder a few years ago and this is the second blade change, everything else still works great. Washes well, very happy with the result.

The original has fallen apart, the plastic has become old and brittle. I expect this one to do the same in a few years. It's nice to have a sharp new blade, even if it's a bit pricey (the whole new unit is about double that part). It probably wouldn't hurt to replace it regularly depending on frequency of use.

Decided to give this a try rather than buy a new grinder. The white plastic around the blade was starting to crack and I was afraid it would break during use so while looking for a Cuisinart mini food processor I found this replacement part. God I was glad to pay for a portion of a great product that has never let me down. He's like new.

I bought a Cuisinart mini food processor at a thrift store. The original blade had cracks around the area where the blade attached to the plastic. I later learned that they were withdrawn. Since I wasn't the original owner, I ordered this replacement blade. I went ahead anyway. It actually seems to be better made than the original. I've used it 3-4 times to grind almonds and walnuts and it seems to be doing the job well.

I had to replace the blade on my mini cousinart because one day it broke. Okay, I confess I went from loop to loop non-stop. back, forward, whoops! I was dying to buy a new blade - half the price of a new machine. But there's a dump and all. Decided to replace the blade. This one is better done than the original, but maybe I'll stop with this beat-grind-beat-grind sequence anyway. Well maybe.

Does not fit model: DLC-2ABC 4 Miniprep Plus cups. Cuisinart calls him a replacement. So that's Cuisinart's problem. The blade doesn't reach the ground. 1/2 inch from the bottom of the bowl. Does not cut or grind food on the ground. The top pin is too short to reach the top of the bowl so it lifts and wobbles. security issue. Cuisinart's customer service was unhelpful: you can order the same part from us and if it doesn't fit you can also return it.
