Like all people, I look at the stars and the reviews.

Like everyone else, I look at stars and reviews before I buy online. I was surprised that some people gave this coffee maker 4 stars or less because of its cord. I was also surprised that some people even sent it back due to the length of the coffee maker cord. If some people put in a little effort, they would find that the rest of the cable is stuck in the machine. I've attached a video for those who are still having trouble.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Very expensive

Best coffee maker!

This coffee maker is fantastic. Perfectly brews coffee and keeps it hot. I haven't had any leakage issues. As for the short cord, all you have to do is tug on it; You may have to pull hard, but it turns around. With my large mugs and travel mugs, all you have to do is remove the cap and the mug will fit. For very tall cups, you sometimes have to move the coffee maker a little closer to the edge of the counter, but when it comes to coffee, that's not a problem. I have zero complaints.

Cuisinart bought another one just like mine

I've always had the same coffee maker! Love No need to clean the coffee pot and count how many coffee pots I broke! I bought the exact same coffee maker years ago and LOVE IT! Unfortunately when the quarantine started I had a friend with me to help wash the coffee with accessory makers and the top of the water dispenser broke, I could still use it but eventually I knew it needed to be replaced. So glad to see they are exactly the same, look at all of the contents in the box, in fact I didn't…

Very happy with our coffee on demand!

We have a one-cup coffee maker, which I have a few gripes with (not hot enough, and woe to anyone who grinds a reusable pod too fine - the water drains out in a trickle), so I wanted to try a different view. This car is bigger than I expected for some reason and I don't drink much coffee so I was wondering if I should leave it at all. I'm very glad I did. It makes a great cup of coffee and keeps it hot for as long as you need it. I can get up and have coffee and my husband can go to sleep and…

I wanted that thing so badly.

There is a fun trendy restaurant just down the street from where I live which is very convenient. If only the food wasn't so bad. For the record, I drink LOTS of coffee. I don't pretend to be a discerning coffee lover. I just know what I like. I prefer a rich (not bitter), dark, hot and smooth coffee. I wanted so badly for this coffee maker to deliver. I just love the convenience of this thing. After 5 months of trying to love it, it's now in the closet and my new car is on the counter…

2 years owned. Hours of fresh tasting, filters, etc.

I've had one for 2 years now. (By the way, "cup" is STANDARD 8 oz, for those of you who don't understand why you don't get 12 CUPS of coffee from this (note the rolling of your eyes)). Pros: I'm most impressed with the fact that this lasts, keeps the coffee hot and tastes fresh for 4 hours. Always with a glass carafe, I found the coffee undrinkable (to taste) long before the usual 2 hour power outage. It tastes burnt or too thick (from evaporation?). It keeps a great temperature and doesn't…

Good manufacturer, but difficult to clean

If I had given this rating 5 months ago when I bought it, it would have easily gotten 5 stars. Today I see I never watched it again so now I am. This unit is terribly difficult to keep clean and I am in constant correspondence with Cuisinart on the matter. The black plastic inner unit ("coffee stand") has so many nooks and crannies that you can never get it clean satisfactorily. Based on the manual, I've been running a half-water, half-vinegar self-cleaning cycle once a month since August…
