We've been on the second car since September. Our experience shows that within a month the seal wears out and the filter does not close tightly enough and drips sideways into the espresso cup. Despite the good reviews and the looks of the machine, it seems very cheap, can be very noisy at times, the washer never dries and doesn't seal properly. Cuisinart completely missed the quality control of this product.

The espresso brand worked very well for about 33 days then the steamer stopped working completely and I contacted Revane who helped me with a three way call with a Cusinart agent Has. I was promised to return the label 3-5 days after the call so on the 7th day I contacted Cusinart and gave my ticket number and they had the wrong email address. So I waited another seven days with no return label and contacted Cusinart again and they still used the wrong email address which was correctly repeated

I have two of these at home, neither of which work. The first device I received had a crack in the water tank. It was duly replaced. After about 3 months, this one stopped making espresso properly. No flow, just drip, drip, drip and then you can't remove the espresso cup as it behaves like a vacuum and is not easy to remove. Contacted Conair for warranty. In short, they sent a new one. They want me to pay to ship the old unit back PLUS a $10 check to cover postage to ship the unit. Meanwhile…
