Another handle falls off

After ten years of very little use, the two screws holding the top plate of the handle gradually became loose and the handle eventually fell off. I stuck a skewer into one of the screw holes so I could pry open the top panel. Not at all happy with Cuisinart's response to my complaint. At first they offered to pay me to send the device back for repairs, but changed their mind when they realized the device was over three years old. This is clearly a manufacturing defect. Good gadget for kitchen and dining room

Makes delicious waffles over and over again; The temperature controller is not fixed, if you wiggle when opening the lid to take out the finished waffle, the temperature setting will not be accurate. After removing the bottom plastic part of the device, I found that the temperature control mechanism on its mount was wobbly and sloppy and there was no way to secure the temperature control connector. Very, very happy with the machine!

I bought this machine to make waffles regularly, which I have done with this wonderful appliance. This is my first iron and it looked flimsy out of the box. The top half seemed free. But plugging in and pouring the first batter showed that wasn't a problem, and the waffles came out perfect every time. And it's a FULLY NON-STICK UNIT that rejects waffles with ease.
