its ok. it will def cook your food but this burner has only 2 heat setting. just on and off. there is absolutely no way to lower or raise the temp. so i turned it on and off multiple times to try to maintain the heat but that meant i had to stand right there by the burner so not very convenient for me.

This is small, compact electric single coil burner. Small enough to use in limited spaces, perfect size for cooking outdoors as well. It worked well and heated up very quickly. The stainless steel surface makes cleanup easy and simple. Nice product, I like it.

This product might be beneficial to others unfortunately , this wasn't the outdoor portable one that I had thought I ordered , so make sure you know what you are buying.

So far, I like this burner. Just hoping it will last. I only use it to boil water for my morning coffee. My old Jenn Air stove no longer works so I have my Cukor hot plate sitting in the metal well where the Jenn Air removable plug in electric unit use to be. This location is secure and has plenty of air around the Cukor. Note I use a ceramic dish to hold the Cukor cord securely in place when unplugged from the wall outlet.

It is a good helper for hot pot party! I found it took a while to boil water with it, it might because I used a larger pot. It only comes with on or off, there no temp setting options.

I followed all the instructions for this item including going outside and turning it on for 15 minutes and letting burn off the residue. I kept it for an extra 5 minutes plus let it cool down once completely burned off the coating. Brought it back inside and the next time I turned it on the smell continued which the directions say it should not! I got in contact with the company and they have been gracious in helping with the issues. They are committed in helping resolve the problem.

The coil burner has very little temperature control. It’s pretty much high or off. That really limits what can be done with this. Disappointed.

purchased this for house renovation since we would be without kitchen. Worked ok for about 3weeks, then plug broke off into extension cord. This hot plate has no temperature control, other than off and on.

This is a basic one coil burner, portable hot plate. It is easy to operate and heats up fast enough. The only problem is the dial does not have levels of temperature so it is hard to know how far to turn it. The hot plate does not take up a lot of room so it is convenient to use in the kitchen. The cord is of a good length to plug in. It has non-slip rubber feet which holds it in place. All in all, it's basic, but does the job.

I got the 1100 watt version - 2 prong electrical outlet, which does not appear to be pictured here at the time of the writing. There does not appear to be temperature control with this device.
