I wouldn't recommend them over camp buddies. They licked fat as they warmed up while cruising down the freeway. I installed them on a perch trailer that gets a lot of use. They work just like expensive wheel bearing lubricators. They're not easy to install if you're not careful. They required a little more effort to put them on. Once turned on, they go nowhere. Be sure to check out YouTube and see how you should lube them before you just start pumping lube in them. You have to keep an eye on the rubber diaphragm and spin the wheel while the lube is pumped all the way through. Once the diaphragm begins to retract, stop pumping lubricant!

I bought six of these, a set for a single axle trailer and a set for a two axle trailer. They fit very snugly (well) on 3500-pound axles. I used a 3 pound sled to mount them. You have to make sure you're going straight and I used some wood so as not to damage the bearing protectors. Lower score due to No. 1: Already two of the six plastic caps were lost in transit.
